The reconstructed village

Welcome to another Algarve. Aldeia da Pedralva, a rural village in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, which has already been inhabited by 100 people, has started, in the last 25 years, a painful process of desertification.
In 2006, when we found this village, it had only 9 original inhabitants, and a group of about 50 houses in an advanced state of ruin. Only nine of these houses had minimal living conditions.

Our concept . Against this backdrop, and determined to give life and dignity to this village again, we moved on to the first phase of this complex urban recovery process.
